Pintwise is a tracker that helps you drink less. It is built so that your drink log stays on your iPhone. This policy explains what that means in practice.

Your drink log stays on your iPhone

Drinks, dry days, goals, challenges and settings are stored only on your device. There is no Pintwise account and no Pintwise server. We cannot see, read or recover your log. Deleting the app, or using Settings › Delete all my data, erases it.

Subscriptions

Payments are processed by Apple. To provide and restore Pintwise Plus we use RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history (products, dates, renewal status). It does not receive your name, email or drink log. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

Apple Search Ads attribution

If you installed Pintwise after tapping an Apple Search Ads result, Apple provides an anonymous attribution token that RevenueCat uses to tell us which campaign led to the install. We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Optional anonymous answers

Only if you switch on “Share anonymous answers” (off by default), your country, goal (for example “drink less”), age range and sex are sent to RevenueCat with your anonymous ID, to help us understand who uses Pintwise. You can switch this off at any time in Settings.

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. No push service is used.

Children

Pintwise is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data on our side other than the anonymous subscription data described above, most requests can be handled on your device. For anything else, including access or deletion of the anonymous subscription record, contact us at pintwise@smallfoldlabs.com. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
